How to use a portable water-based fire extinguisher
When using a portable fire extinguisher, it is best to operate alone, should carry the handle of the fire extinguisher, quickly rush to the fire, at a distance of about 5 meters from the fire point, put down the fire extinguisher (when used outdoors, should occupy the upwind direction), pull out the safety pin (do not point the head of the fire extinguisher against the human body to prevent ejection and injury), hold the front end of the spray belt with one hand, and press down the handle with the other hand, and the fire extinguishing agent will be sprayed out from the nozzle.
1. When using a fire extinguisher to extinguish a scattered liquid fire, it should be sprayed from the side of the flame, aimed at the root of the flame, and shot from near to far, left and right, and quickly advanced until all the flames were extinguished.
2. When using a fire extinguisher to extinguish a fire of combustible liquid in the container, it should also be aimed at the root of the flame from the side of the flame and strafed left and right. When the flame is driven out of the container, it should move forward quickly to extinguish all the remaining fire. When extinguishing the fire, care should be taken not to direct the nozzle to the liquid level spray, in order to prevent the impact force of the fire extinguishing agent from splashing the oil, causing the fire to expand, causing fire extinguishing difficulties.
3. When using a fire extinguisher to extinguish a fire of solid matter, the fire extinguisher nozzle should be aimed at the most violent place of burning, strafing left and right, and the dry powder fire extinguishing agent should be evenly sprayed on the surface of the burning material as much as possible until the fire is all extinguished.
The use of fire extinguishers should pay attention to always keep upright during the fire extinguishing process, and must not be used horizontally or upside down, otherwise it cannot be sprayed normally.
